  First Day At The Office For The New Apprentice

 
  Amstrad today announces that Timothy Campbell, winner of this year’s ‘The Apprentice’ TV series, is to be ‘Project Director’ for Amstrad’s new Internet based Health and Beauty Division, reporting into Amstrad’s Chairman, Sir Alan Sugar.

Campbell’s job will be to manage the development of an electronic product specifically developed for the beauty market. Amstrad has a longstanding reputation for innovation in consumer electronics products. Campbell will be combining this expertise with technological developments in the beauty skin care arena.

This product will be available to consumers towards the end of the year through a new and exciting internet based distribution channel unique to this market. Campbell will be overseeing the establishment of this new route to market utilising custom written software to maximise on internet growth and usage.

Campbell said: “The health and beauty market is ripe for innovation and the team here at Amstrad has come up with a product which we feel will certainly make an impact. I’m conscious that running this new project is now the real thing.”

Sir Alan Sugar said: “Amstrad’s new Health and Beauty division is a serious venture for the business and Tim’s role as its Project Director is very real and very key. I’ll be giving him all the help and support I can but making it happen is now down to him.”
